Nigel Branker, CEO, Securian Canada, appointed to CAFII Board of Directors
TORONTO, February 23, 2023 – The Canadian Association for Financial Institutions in Insurance (CAFII), announced that Nigel Branker, Chief Executive Officer of Securian Canada, has been unanimously appointed as a member of the Board of Directors, effective February 14, 2023.
As Chief Executive Officer of Securian Canada, Nigel is an innovative and progressive leader and a frontier in transforming emerging societal issues impacting businesses nationwide, including diversity, inclusion and mental health in the workplace. Nigel was nominated, and with a unanimous vote from CAFII’s 14 members including the insurance arms of Canada’s major financial institutions, his appointment was confirmed.
